It's being reported in Gamesindustry.biz that Sony and Microsoft are set to release new versions of their console systems...in a set of "limited edition" colors. Microsoft will be offering a consumer version of the translucent green X-Box and Sony will have red, white, and blue versions of the Playstation 2 made available this holiday season.
Well...WHOOOPIDY DOO!
It's widely known that the Nintendo Gamecube is available in a few colors other than what I call "default purple", but I really can't be made to believe that there are enough lemming-minded people out there who will choose one console system over another because of the color choices available. I also believe that this is simply going to add to the overhead of these companies at a time when they need to consider the costs of their hardware.

This is my old project, THROWDOWN.
A group of friends and I put together this little project in 2003 as an outlet of out collective rage and anger about the
subjects that each of us cared about. I was the editor-and-chief and games writer back then.
It was a blast to do and it to be involved in a great collaborative effort using the strengths of my friends was simply amazing. I hope you have fun reading our
work as much as we had in creating it.
